Section R313.1 Townhouse automatic fire sprinkler. Insert “; however, an automatic fire sprinkler system shall not be required if each unit is separated by a two (2) hour fire wall” after “installed in townhouses” and before”.”. Section R313.2 One- and two-family dwellings automatic fire sprinkler system. Delete the words “An automatic residential fire sprinkler system shall be installed in one- and two-family dwelling.” Replace with “When an automatic residential fire sprinkler system is installed in one- and twofamily dwellings, the following shall apply.” Link to amendments.
